Free Trees for Kent

    A FREE tree scheme has been made available to more people in the county of Kent, United Kingdom.

    Now also residents, organisations and businesses in Canterbury and Thanet can apply for up to 25 native trees.

    Existing areas that are covered already are Bexley, Dartford, Gravesham, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Swale, Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge and Malling.

    The scheme, which is sponsored by Network Rail and the Kent County Council, gave out nearly 9,000 trees in 2007.
