The family of young Belgian climber Chloe Graftiaux who fell to her death in Italy last year,have launched a book and DVD on Chloe's life.Profits from which will go to aid young climbers to achieve their ambitions in the mountain environment. The trust will be known as Chloe Grafitaux-Passion Together.
ChloƩ Graftiaux was a Belgian sport climber, who fell to her death on the Aiguille Noire de Peuterey (3,773 m) in the Mont Blanc massif aged just 23
In the 2010 season of the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) Bouldering World Cup, she won Gold at the World Cup events in Vail, United States and Sheffield, United Kingdom and finished third in the overall standings. She was also multiple times the Belgian champion lead climbing and in January 2010 she won the Ice Master-Worldcup ice climbing in Valle di Daone
On 21 August 2010 she climbed Aiguille Noire Peuterey with her climbing partner Nicolas. While descending the south face of the mountain she unroped on a technically easy part of the descent but fell 600m when she dislodged a boulder.
