Following their successful and highly popular ' The Big Climb'   spectacular filmed and shown live on TV in August . Leading Scottish climber Dave Macleod and partner Tim Emmett are back on BBC Scotland screens later this month for a series which features them climbing five new routes in five days on five stunning Hebridean islands.

The series has been made by the same Triple Echo productions company who made 'The Big Climb'.The film was made as a back up production to the live climb in case bad weather, injury or unforeseen events killed the planned event.

Dave Macleod was wildly enthusiastic about his latest adventures off Scotland's rugged west coast. "We travelled about the Hebrides on a big boat, attempting some really hard new routes back to back over 5 days. You’ll have to watch the programmes to see the outcome but I can tell you it was the best trip I’ve had new routing in the Hebrides, certainly one of the hardest and definitely with the most falls!....The culmination of the trip trying a brilliant 2 pitch line of perfect black Gabbro on St Kilda was unbelievable."

The programmes will be shown on BBC Scotland 19th-26th October at 7pm.
